Carrot

Eh, what's up, doc? Bugs Bunny may be the reason why people think bunnies munch on these crunchy, orange veggies day and night. Move over, bunnies, because we seek out carrots for their high beta-carotene content - which your body converts into good old vitamin A. That’s why many often associate carrots with good eyesight.

Beyond vitamin A, carrots are also packed with vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium and a variety of antioxidant carotenoids. As much as we love carrots, we understand that they may be an acquired taste. That’s why Little West adds carrots to cold pressed juices. We make it easier and more convenient for you.

Cayenne

Cayenne pepper (aka Capsicum Annuum) is a fiery spice native to Central and South America. This long, slender red chili can reach heat measured between 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville heat units! Don’t worry. That’s not too hot. In terms of the Hot Ones lineup, you’re looking at the fourth bottle out of the ten. So, is cayenne pepper just spice? No!

When added sparingly to juices (remember, it’s spicy), cayenne imparts a warmth and an extra dose of vitamins A, C and E, along with anti-inflammatory and circulation-boosting properties. At Little West, we add just enough to give you its benefits, but not so much that you won’t be able to drink your juice.

Coconut Water

It’s like water… But better.

Coconut water is the translucent liquid inside young green coconuts. It’s like a natural sports drink due to its unique electrolyte profile and low sugar content. It’s refreshing, no doubt. But coconut water is also a pure, unadulterated form of potassium, sodium, magnesium, and even calcium.

Unlike coconut milk, which is high in fat, coconut water is light and tasty to boot, making it an ideal base for hydrating juices and smoothies.

Ginger

Ginger is a superstar in juices and culinary dishes alike. When ginger makes its way into your cold pressed juices, you definitely know it! This spicy, aromatic ingredient prized for its unique flavor and therapeutic properties. It’s been used for millennia in Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Western herbal treatments!

Lemon

And it was all yellow… The lemon is an iconic yellow citrus fruit renowned for its tangy juice, high vitamin C content and vibrant aroma. 

Orange

Ah, the orange. Easily one of the most reconizable and loved fruits, it is is a culinary staple and a prominent source of vitamin C. It’s sweet, tangy, and uber refreshing, making it an excellent ingredient when it comes to juices -  whether as the star of the show or blended with other fruits and veggies.
